"I is very scared of the 2nd one. Its like some ceremonial costume they put a girl in before they sacrifice her to some deity on the top of a mountain somewhere.
And Gimli, son of Gloin? You didn't lose your battle axe, honey. Its been buried in the back of Padmés head."

*pats the senate gown*
The water gown isn't bad, but despite Padme being rather dead in it it reminds me too much of the 'batik' stuff that used to be so famous in the 90s over here. :P

I can't come at the senate gown. There's something off about it.

Really? lol!
matapadabee on May 31st, 2008 03:15 pm (UTC)
lol Yeah, see? http://www.gesamtschule-eiserfeld.de/Events/PROWO/Prowo2003/Batik%202.JPG

I was forced into a course where we made exactly that stuff... I hated it. Which probably explains why it was an easy choice this time. lol

Oh no, tie-dye!! How very 1960s!! ROFL!!

Goodness gracious me, I got a quotable quote! *smooches & hugs* ♥

I had to peek at Mata's comment to see what dress the water one was. That was the burial costume? I haven't paid as much attention to eps 3 I admit. I have the eps 2 dvd so I know those gowns well.

Hmm, now I am wondering if I should go with the streamline Water gown or the plushy toy Senate gown. The hair in the shape of satellite dishes is getting to me a bit. I guess it will come in handy when she's out in space and communication gets cut off. ;)

Naboo, do you read me? We have a problem...

*Grins* It made me lol so hard.

Yes, that's right. (Ep3 isn't really worth your attention, to be honest. It's horrific.)

LOL!!! Satellite dishes... :D

*giggles* Glad to provide some LOLs. :D

Eps 3..I had such expectations about that, being a huge Old Trilogy chick...but man it was a disappointment. The old trilogy never lost sight of the storyline...that was a huge plus.

Oooh, she's unscrambling a signal...must be that new cable channel the Jedi Council has been trying to sneak into their council room. :p

I think, I think..I'm gonna toss out the Senate deleted scene gown. Water seems a better for me right now.

I don't think GL is capable of making a decent movie unless it has Harrison Ford in it. :D

ROFL!! Maybe!
Daughter of Eve: Ben Barnes: photocall casualprincess_narnia on May 31st, 2008 03:52 pm (UTC)
The SW movies were always better when a different writer was on board, I think. Eps 4 was an exception but eps 5 and 6 were done nice and tight (different writers and directors too for some sections) and they still got it all in there.

A Han style guy in the prequels would have been marvelous no? :D He was a laugh riot in the old trilogy. Han/Leia FTW!

Someone should tell Padmé that the Senate already have someone with that skill. *whispers* A certain Master Yoda...

I knew polititians were evil, but in the Senate dress, Padme has horns! That entire outfit is just... creepy. Like the wife of some evil over lord.

Erm. No pun intended.

Hey yeah - it is a bit goth in that respect. LOL!

Not a fan of the deleted senate, actually ... so I'm going water, even though I'm a bit indifferent to it.
kailorien on June 1st, 2008 04:43 am (UTC)
I can't decide! The water gown looks good, plus perfect dress for on the go, you'd never need to iorn it!
But the Senate dress is also gorgrous, although here she reminds me of the girl from The Never Ending Story all grown up.

I think Im going to have to stick with the senate dress, I do love the colours on her.

Good point, good point!

I don't like the Senate - she looks too puffed up.

I've missed so many of these!

This one was easy for me because I really dislike the water one. It seems to be popular though - I wonder if it makes a difference having seen it in the movie (which I haven't).
Lauren: Eowyn Anyatheeowyn on June 1st, 2008 06:07 am (UTC)
They move fast. :D

Maybe. It's from a "sad" scene, so that could account for its popularity. I think it is pretty, but it's easy for me this round as I dislike the senate.

water rocks :)

It is rather pretty!

I don't hate the senate gown, but the water gown is just gorgeous. The colors are beautiful, and it is just so fun to look at.
