Please bear in mind the Corset Gown is worn two ways: with shawl/capelet, and without. Vote with this in mind.

I actually dislike that feather thingy for the corset, but without it the dress is so elegant, even if a bit 'leather barbie'.
The wedding dress could've been so much more spectacular.

I quite like the simplicity of the wedding dress, sans the silly doily on her head. The bondage barbie works for me, lol.

I really dislike the leather outfit, ... however I suppose if dominatrics is your thing?

The wedding dress makes her look like she's wrapped up in a lace doyle, but I think I prefer it for its more 'feminine look'.

Lol, I quite like it!

It's good, except the doily head thing. :D
kailorien on May 13th, 2008 10:51 am (UTC)
What, the dress or dominatrics? ;p lol
Lauren: Arwen Resteowyn on May 13th, 2008 11:18 am (UTC)
The dress. :D

the corset outfit, although never striking me as very star-wars-ish, caught my eye from the beginning. It immediately reminded me of one of the costumes Minnie Driver wore in The Governess (sorry - can't fina a picture) and always held a soft spot for me. That's probably because there was no hoop in sight unlike 75% of the rest of her wardrobe.

I was wondering when we would see this one come up for vote.

I never really liked the wedding dress. Too heavy, too much going on.

I'll keep an eye out for the Governess!

today I want it white :) ;)
Lauren: Marthaeowyn on May 13th, 2008 01:50 pm (UTC)
Lol! I wanted it black.

It's like a tournament of good vs evil this time.
Atanone: 17atanone on May 13th, 2008 01:58 pm (UTC)
exactly :)

I prefer the wedding dress (I really hate T-shaped collars like the one on the black dress). It's kind of funny, though, that she had an actual wedding dress for a "secret" wedding (although I suppose there's no particular reason to think a white wedding dress is traditional in the SW universe... maybe she just grabbed something out of her closet).
Lauren: Margueriteeowyn on May 13th, 2008 02:05 pm (UTC)
LOL! You're right - it's just another loopy reason to dress her up pretty. Maybe she just stapled together a couple of doilies!

Oh! I love the wedding dress! so much detail!
Lauren: Beat Loveeowyn on May 14th, 2008 12:15 am (UTC)
There is pretty detail, but it reminds me of my Grandma's doilies...
lordofhaladinlordofhaladin on May 14th, 2008 04:25 am (UTC)
lol well it was made of an old crochet bed spread. ;p

Decisions decisions... Both seem to have something that looks rather strange. The feathers on the corset and the veil on the wedding dress, but I think I like the design in the wedding dress fabric more. The corset one looks like she should be quoting "come into my parlor said the spider to the fly".

I actually like both of them, but I love the wedding dress so much. It is beautiful, something that I'd definately wear.

It is pretty, lovely embroidery!

"See see, look how sexy she is! Also, she wants Anakin to stop bothering her so how about wearing this leather and sitting next to the fire talking about love? Not like a senator would have a lot of paperwork or whatever ..."

Well, not that the wedding dress wasn't romanticized either, just not as in-your-face.

I mean, WAS romanticized.

Yeah. I thought the same thing when I first saw it. Talk about sending mixed messages! ;)

With the capelet thingie it's kinda funny-looking, but without it -- yowza!

I'm glad the wedding dress won. It's lovely and reminds me of my own mother's wedding dress, which was very late 1970's and made of lace similarly (my mommy was a hippee and wore a wreath of wildflowers in her very, very long black hair tho!).
